
- Bryan C. Bacon – Shareholder
Bryan C. Bacon received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1997 and was elected to the Order of the Coif upon graduation. Bryan received his B.S. degree (magna cum laude) in Economics from Truman State University. Prior to joining the firm, Bryan served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David P. McDonald, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri and the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Eighth Circuit. Mr. Bacon is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and is a member of the Missouri and Illinois State Bar Associations and the American Bar Association. He practices in the areas of commercial bankruptcy and workouts.
Bryan’s practice focuses on representing both creditors and borrowers in a wide array of commercial distress lending issues, including out of court workouts, actions to enforce creditors’ rights, and in proceedings under the United States Bankruptcy Code. Bryan also has experience representing other constituent groups in Chapter 11 proceedings, including employees, unions, equity holders, and landlords. Bryan has also assisted investors in purchasing the assets and ownership interest of companies in Chapter 11 proceedings.
Bryan is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Illinois and is a member of the Boone County Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
