Thomas M. Harrison concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate transactions and development, banking law, general commercial law, commercial litigation, corporate law, business acquisitions and sales, estate and probate litigation, employment litigation, estate planning, and business organizations. His areas of emphasis also include commercial lending and representing developers and equity investors in affordable housing developments, including those involving state and federal housing tax credits. He also represents several banks and other financial institutions in the central Missouri area. He also practices heavily in commercial litigation, loan workouts, and foreclosures.

Mr. Harrison has tried numerous cases in both jury and non-jury cases in several venues. He makes frequent appearances in numerous state and federal courts in the state of Missouri.

He joined the firm in 1989 upon his graduation from law school. He is a member of The Missouri Bar and the Boone County Bar Association.

Mr. Harrison is a member of the University of Missouri-Columbia Law Society. He served on the board of directors of Family Counseling Center of Missouri, Inc., from 2003 to 2009 and is currently on the board of directors of Job Point. While in law school, Mr. Harrison was on the Missouri Law Review in 1987-1988 and served on the board of editors of the Missouri Law Review from 1988 to 1989 as Lead Articles Editor.

Mr. Harrison is admitted to practice in Missouri (he has been a member of The Missouri Bar since 1989), the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Mr. Harrison is married and has two children.
