Christian A. Melhado practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, business litigation, commercial real estate transactions, and business organization.

Before entering the legal profession, Christian co-founded and operated a technology start-up with his twin brother, gaining firsthand experience in entrepreneurship, business operations, and business organizations. He later worked for a commercial real estate development company in New York City, where he was responsible for negotiating and executing commercial leases across the Northeast.

Christian earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law, where his grandfather, Allen E. Smith, served as Dean during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He is a proud supporter of the Mizzou Tigers and enjoys attending football and basketball games. Outside of the office, Christian is an avid golfer and outdoorsman who enjoys hunting with his Boykin Spaniel, Tito.
