Anne E. Kern has been practicing family law in mid-Missouri since 2005. She represents clients in complex divorce cases and has experience with all aspects of high-asset divorce including valuation of closely held businesses, valuation of real property, valuation of professional practices, retirement assets, stock options, income disparity and maintenance (alimony). She works with a network of experts in these high asset cases.

Anne also represents clients in divorce cases, custody cases, modification cases, paternity cases, child custody cases, child support cases, maintenance cases and adoption.

She has offices in both the Columbia and Jefferson City locations and handles cases in most mid Missouri counties.

Anne is a member of the Missouri Bar, Cole County Bar and Boone County Bar. For ten years, she has served on the Missouri Bar Family Law Planning Committee for the Family Law Conference, the Missouri Bar’s second largest annual continuing legal education conference. Anne regularly speaks at conferences about family law across the state.

Anne is a native of Iowa City, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2005 and holds a B.S. in Justice Systems from Truman State University. She and her husband Andy reside in Columbia with their two children, David, and Lydia.
